Einstein Makuyana is the founder and CEO of BlitzTech Electronics, a Southern Africa-based electronics, robotics, IoT and R&D firm headquartered in Harare. A Harare Institute of Technology graduate in Electronic Engineering, he has led 500+ engineering deployments across the SADC and MENA regions, the United States and Asia, and convenes Zimbabwe's annual ITU Robotics for Good Youth Challenge.

Einstein Makuyana is the founder and CEO of BlitzTech Electronics, the Southern Africa-based electronics, robotics, IoT, water-systems, clean-energy and R&D firm he founded in Harare in July 2017. A Harare Institute of Technology graduate in Electronic Engineering, he has grown BlitzTech to 500+ delivered projects across the SADC and MENA regions, with signed partnerships spanning Zimbabwe, the DRC, South Africa, the UAE, Germany, China and the United States. He has led end-to-end product engineering on flagship deliveries including the Meddes CPAP ventilator, the ZIMPUDO smart-locker platform and the Lafarge remote-pump controller, and convenes Zimbabwe's annual ITU Robotics for Good Youth Challenge. He was recognised as a MACYDO 30 Under 30 Top Innovator (2022) and the African Influencer Awards Top Innovator of the Year, 2nd Runner-Up (2022).

Einstein Makuyana is the founder and CEO of BlitzTech Electronics, a Southern Africa-based electronics, robotics, IoT, water-systems, clean-energy and R&D firm headquartered in Harare. A 2014 graduate of the Harare Institute of Technology (B.Tech, Electronic Engineering), he founded BlitzTech on 27 July 2017 with the conviction that Southern Africa does not need to import every line of intellectual property in its electronics supply chain — that the region can design, manufacture and support its own systems.

Over nine years he has grown BlitzTech into a multi-vertical engineering platform with over 500 delivered projects and 200+ clients, with signed partnerships across seven countries on three continents: Hydrocraft Projects Africa (Zimbabwe), Scale Consortium (DRC), Evanston Technology Partners (United States), MENA Water FZC (UAE, a HUBER Group subsidiary), Wamasys Water Systems, Jiangsu Mingxing Water Supply (China), KORTRONG New Energy (China) and Segen Solar (South Africa, where BlitzTech is the authorised Zimbabwean installer).

His flagship engineering work includes the Meddes CPAP ventilator (advanced to clinical trials), the ZIMPUDO smart-locker parcel platform, the Brün Health fetal monitor (handed for FDA testing), and the Lafarge remote-pump controller. He convenes Zimbabwe's national qualifier of the ITU Robotics for Good Youth Challenge, hosted at the Harare Institute of Technology in 2025 and at Westridge Primary School in 2026.

Einstein was named a MACYDO 30 Under 30 Top Innovator in May 2022 and the African Influencer Awards Top Innovator of the Year, 2nd Runner-Up in October 2022. He lives and works in Harare, Zimbabwe.
